LET GOD TAKE CHARGE
Let God take charge!
Calm down 'your mumu button dey God hand'
Hahaha!
Take a moment and look through these verses.
The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. (Proverbs 21:1 KJV)
Another version says;
The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, He directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases (NIV)
And another says;
The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD like the rivers of water, He turns it wherever He wishes. (NKJV)
Take another moment, think of the most powerful man alive; President Donald Trump, Xi Jinping, Pope Francis, President Vladimir Putin, Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccittini, Cristiano Ronaldo, Mark Zuckerberg, YOU!
These very powerful men and all others are in God's hands.
In Nigeria slang 'Their Mumu button dey God hand'.
Like the Rivers....he is in control of them. He's like wind, no matter the depth or width of the sea, he controls them.
This is quite absurd to Man (humans) who loves to in charge at all seasons, to do and undo and to control.
To disgrace man and to show him how much his power or ability to control means nothing to him, he says to man 'the heart of a king is in my hand'.
There are lots of powerful kings in the Bible whom God showed that their powers indeed meant nothing. A phone call to one powerful man in the Bible is a piece of good evidence. His name is King Nebuchadnezzar.
Daniel 4:28-34
28 All this happened to King Nebuchadnezzar. 29 Twelve months later, as the king was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon, 30 he said, “Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?” 31 Even as the words were on his lips, a voice came from heaven, “This is what is decreed for you, King Nebuchadnezzar: Your royal authority has been taken from you. 32 You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like the ox. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes.” 33 Immediately what had been said about Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled. He has driven away from people and ate grass like the ox. His body was drenched with the dew of heaven until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle and his nails like the claws of a bird. 34 At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the highest I honoured and glorified him who lives forever. His dominion is an eternal dominion; his kingdom endures from generation to generation. 35 All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him: “What have you done?” 36 At the same time that my sanity was restored, my honour and splendour were returned to me for the glory of my kingdom. My advisers and nobles sought me out, and I was restored to my throne and became even greater than before. 37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.
Maybe we confirm also from great grand king Herods at what point they encountered the supremacy of God's power and how all of their powers meant nothing to God.
Today the Lord is still knocking at the doors of many men.
Yet man feels like God is a time-waster He feels like he can pass well through the routes and the visions of his life without God.
Man actions speak to God about his need for his own power.
Man actions even yell at God.
Some (most) times, man says 'Hey God, get in the back seat if you must follow my car, I am in charge here'
Well...
Today, God is still speaking to man
He's saying
'Let me ride you'
'Let me take you to your destination'
'You see where I am taking you to eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the thing that I have prepared for those who love me.”
What path would you rather follow now on your own free will?
Wey your mumu button dey?
