Hello everyone, my name is Ubulaba and I am just a Sunday Christian and a wanderer who have no church to call home. Nothing to be proud of, someday, I hope to change. *** Dear Dairy, The rays from today sun, shone and penetrated through the windscreen to my eyes, the scorching heat from the sun too was unbearable. It was a Sunday after all. ‘Driver, your AC no dey work?’ I asked the driver. ‘Madam no vex’ He responded. He quickly wound up the windows and turned on the AC. The cab started to cool but the sun rays did not stop shining into my eyes. I picked my sunglasses from my bag and wore it. I took off my hat so my head would cool too. I visited a church very far away from home because I did not want rumours going round in the neighbourhood that I am a church wanderer. Thank God for Google and Google map, it made the wandering an easy one. I saw one church online with a really beautiful architecture design. I read a few things about them and It seemed like my dream church so I made

I struggled to stand up but my legs were too weak to bear the weight.  I was overwhelmed internally and externally with the stress of yesterday’s work.  It was another Sunday and to be honest, I did not feel like going church. I ran back to my room after finishing from the kitchen. I quickly searched for something to wear. My

I was totally overwhelmed and exhausted from confusion to frustration and then to excitement at the end of the day. After what happened to me the other Sunday, I didn’t feel like going to church the next Sunday but I knew I just had to. My two neighbors, Abiodun and James convinced me to attend their churches. Both of their churches had special youth services at different hours so I was super excited to join both of them  *** ‘Shubaba laba kaya kudo!!! Na nan …ahopoopppp….hfiiednni’ I squinted from the back to see the pastor praying with so much vigour. He used his brown handkerchief to clean some sweats gathering on his forehead down to his neck.  He walked zealously to and fro the pulpit like a soldier training for war.   Almost everyone in the church h

Hello everyone, my name is Ubulaba and I am just a Sunday Christian. Nothing to be proud , someday, I hope to change. *** I have heard over time again and again when people say the church is like an hospital, it is not everyone who goes there that is well. I never believed it because I have never been able to comprehend what people who aren’t Christians are doing in churches until that Sunday *** Let me tell you the story *** ‘Praise the Lord somebody!!!’ The response of the congregation was louder than the microphone. It  w as my first Sunday at that particular church. No one invited me, I woke up on that Sunday morning and I desired a different Sunday service so I slayed up, stewed up and peppered up with my styled curly hair, ankara blazer, a black top inside and ankara skirt to match. I glammed up my looks with yellow heels and golden accessories . You know what they say about first time impression, I wanted to make a memorable one so I bathed myself with almost half container of m
